Hats off to that group of players.

We’re not there yet but been a very odd season in some ways and we’ve ticked off another thing we haven’t experienced in the modern game, ie relegation from the PL and the impact that has on loads of things. Some of the players have really grown into the season, others have faded, and it’s been a real mixed bag for me. But if they deliver promotion then fair play to all of them.

McKenna is an absolute legend. Had some awful games against them in recent times, plenty where they’ve had much better players and we’ve played to get something on the break etc. Felt like all that was buried today, and I’m so pleased it was this group that did it.

Couldn't agree more all round.

*If* we do get over the line in the next few weeks I think there'll be a lot more clarity and understanding about what we've faced this season and how difficult it actually is.

Yes, I’m sat at home now with a whisky feeling contented. Our game was the big thing this weekend but the others all dropping points was a bonus.

Just keep our heads now and we will be fine.

Well said. Glad you finally got to see us bury some demons in person. It’s been bad enough watching from 5,000 miles away. Can only imagine how that felt to watch after being there over the last decade or so, particularly in 2015 and I guess 2018.

Although, that post is far too coherent for 11pm! Go pour another!

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?
