McLean could have had at least 4 yellows for the most obvious displays of dissent you can imagine. The yellow he received was the clearest of the match and he also went to ground very easily numerous times, no idea how he stayed on the pitch and how the dissent wasn't mentioned by the commentators.
That said, I don't think it should have been a penalty and both Nunez and Davis were lucky not to get a second yellow. | | | |
