Yup. Not just the results at Oxford, Leicester, Pompey, Preston and Blackburn (a lucky draw) but the performances were insipid too.

I think many forget the functional aspects of the 23/24 promotion. The away wins at, say Blackburn or Bristol City, when if the opposition had taken their chances we’d have lost, those two home draws in the run in against Boro and Watford. They’ve been airbrushed from memory in the euphoria of what that team achieved. |

Well...we lost 5 away in 23/24. Leicester, who won the title, lost 6...
Sheff U the year before finished second, losing 7 away.
Year before that Fulham and Bournemouth lost 5 away.
So it's not exactly unusual. |
You missed out last season for some reason? Maybe because Leeds and Burnley only lost 2 and 3 each
Lets look at away points:
24/25 - Burnley 49, Sheff Utd 43, Leeds 42
23/24 - Leicester 45, Ipswich 42
22/23 - Burnley 47, Luton 41, Sheff Utd 40
Max we can get is 36 this season. I think points is a better stat than losses. Maybe it proves we've drawn way too many games. [Post edited 26 Apr 22:28]
