2 games to get a win. We'd all have taken that at pretty much any point after the first 4 games this season.
We are a pretty horrible watch away from home, but we have become increasingly effective.

Yep. It's probably worth people remembering that back in 2023-24 we weren't a laugh a minute in away games either – it gets forgotten because the entire thing was so fresh and wondrous and incredible as a whole, the highs were stunning, but we got away with loads and became a lot more conservative & counterattacking as the season went on. As you suggest, we're now more steady & effective and it's probably the right approach in the current situation. [Post edited 25 Apr 22:30]

Also, it has to be said, the game at The Hawthorns in 2023/24 was probably one of our worst performances of the season. Perhaps only beaten by what happened at Leeds. | |
