Arsenal aren't a great watch, are they? 21:51 - May 18 with 1997 viewsDubtractor

I know that isn't an original observation, but every time I watch them I just find the game drifting by without much happening.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Yeah but it’s just because I don’t like Arsenal tbh and know an unhealthy amount of their “fanbase”, very few being from North London even though they regularly fly to games.

You could level that accusation at any of the PL big boys. I know several Arsenal season ticket holders from my area. Some Spurs too, although they've been harder to find recently!

They must really hate the football tourist model and how it 's pricing fans out of the game.

"They break our legs and tell us to be grateful when they offer us crutches."
Poll: Political leaning/Ashton in/out.

It’s funny really, it was only 10 years or so ago under Wenger where they were ridiculed for their free flowing football with very little back bone, resulting in a period where they barely won anything.

They went toe to toe with City for 2-3 years trying to play free flowing, gung ho football - Ala
City - which resulted in them throwing the title away.

They go toe a more pragmatic style, taking pride in defending and now find themselves being ridiculed every week for it.

Strange.

Ah the old "you can't do both" argument.

You can be pragmatic without being so cautious. I can't remember a team winning the prewmier league in the last 20 so years who was as "pragmatic" as they are. Arsenal have the players not to be as much like that.

I'm sure Chelsea let in less than 20 goals one season, but they scored a load too.
