There are probably many more factors to that though which need to be considered. Out of that 2%, how many are football fans, how many are able to attend games etc. The article makes it quite clear that following the recommendations from the Premier League audit, the club have been quick to act to get it right so the hospitality comment seems a bit harsh. |  | | |

As a disabled fan who uses a mobility scooter I welcome any improvement to facilities but an increase in number of spaces in the SBR would be fantastic as it’s very difficult to get tickets. I will say that Lee Smith is incredible helpful as are all the staff on match days. | | | |

Is it that unfair of a comparison? 2 of our 4 stands are virtually the same ages as those 2 grounds anyway.
Also, there will still be the same proportion of fans who are require accessible seating in all fanbases. It being an older ground doesn't suddenly mean we fans needing accessible seating don't matter. |  | | |

Exactly, two of our stands, not the whole stadium.
Its a lot easier to design a brand new, purpose built football stadium to accommodate disabled fans than it is to retrofit a stadium.
Maybe a fairer comparison would be to see the ratio of disabled seats in those two stands to the total capacity of those two stands.

Just to clarify, I don't think you're saying "disabled fans don't matter", I think everyone can pretty universally agree, that they matter and shouldn't be excluded.
I think the issue is that an older stadium is a reason for why things are that way, but it should not be used an excuse. If a club is in receipt of £100m per year in TV money, then reasonable efforts to put in adequate amounts of accessible seating should be essential. We've had one big influx of said money and we'll be getting another now, so let's get up to that level or as close as possible.*
