Southampton Appeal 19:06 - May 19 with 2300 viewsvictorysquad

The reason their appeal should be kicked out is they have admitted to spying on three games, which mean't those 3 matches (at least, there may have been more of course) were not fair contests, and therefore should have been null and void, and the result handed to the other teams.

Poll: If we sing for 90 mins for all remaining games, how many points is it worth?

And the press officer for Southampton had the audacity to say to the journo 'Have some respect'

I'd forgotten about that! What a knob!

Have some morals, Press Officer!

It would be better for Town if Southampton won their appeal and beat Hull. That won’t happen though.

If Boro win Saturday Hull will be chasing legal advice too.

Why would it be better for Town if Saints won the appeal and got promoted?

They would most likely start with a points deduction whatever league they’re in next season so that would be good for us if they went up.

I've heard it on good authority that the tree and bush that Will Salt hid between are native species to Norfolk. This clearly implicates Norwich City in aiding and abetting, and hence they should be docked half whatever points S'ton are next season.

Possibly, although the Premier League would have to agree to it and since they don't have a rule in place that bans spying then that's not guaranteed. I'd also expect Saints to be in a position to be 4 points better than either Boro or Hull next season given their resources and existing squad depth. Personally would rather see Hull or Boro go up from both a what's best for us perspective and a sporting integrity one.

I agree of course. I’d like to see Hull City do it.

Given how they've been dicked around, I agree.
