He's just not going to leave is he.

The brand new training ground opens in 4 weeks, he's got a transfer kitty of £150m .... I just can't imagine either of these jobs is going to tempt him this summer.

But you are right, the media will link him to every available job.

There’s definitely going to be numerous reports linking him to it. And no doubt the usual overreactions on here as soon as that does happen.

I hope you’re right though, there’s plenty going in our favour this time.

I feel much more prepared for the noise than I was two years ago. Because:

1) McKenna did not wow the PL on first attempt, so might not be seen as attractive a prospect.

2) KM is now expensive to pry away. (Although certainly not beyond PL budgets if they really want him).

3) Losing him doesn't feel like the kick in the nads it would have been two years ago, when he still had the messiah aura about him. It would have been too soon! He's given us 4 and a half glorious years, if he feels ready to move on I won't like it, but can understand and accept it.

Fulham will finish 10 points off the relegation places. Palace only 6 or 7.

I doubt see either taking a punt in McKenna. They will want tried and tested top league experience imo.

It would take a lot to win over the fans after Silva and Glasner too. Both vacancies look like they are primed for available managers, as they come with big risks for a manager already in a good job.

I think KM has clearly done a really good job …

But, still has a lot to prove at PL level …. This is a good opportunity to do it with us.

If he chooses to move on though, it would be with best wishes.
