If our recruitment is good this summer, Anis is unlikely to play much for us, maybe sub appearances and cup games.
So my preference would be to loan him out to an upper Championship team to ensure he gets game time and is available for us should we be relegated again next season. |  |

One thing that was strange about Mehmeti is that he came from Bristol City with a good number of goals and assists but didn't do much of either with us.

I'm pretty sure teams played differently against us than they did Bristol City, he probably faced more low blocks in the 16 or so games with us than in his entire career there! He also played left sided 10 for them so it was a change of position too.
I think on Blue Monday it was said that City had also absolutely flogged him during the start of the season playing a lot of minutes.
For me he's one you definitely want to see more of before making a judgement but it will be more difficult in the Prem. He'll be a useful squad player next season covering a few positions as well.
One we probably reassess in January and see where we are. |  | | |
