Definitely worth a watch! Yes, I'm interested in what people who lived through that era think. I guess it's easy to think that all was good when as you say in many ways it was not. But overall it feels to me (football aside) that people look happier and secure in themselves without the individualism that has now pervaded society. Do you think that's fair? | | | |

I absolutely loved that!! What a completely different world. No single facet of it, from players, managers, coaches, supporters, ground staff, were all cut from the same cloth. Amazing. The 2 (yes, only 2) coaches were also doing the massages in the treatment room! Thanks for posting. |  |

It's complicated. Many things including hooliganism were a huge problem and the 80s the nadir of British football for many reasons.
But it's an interesting clip in terms of sociology. It's a simpler time and you can see the people in it are very different to today. There's a gentleness and at the same time a steeliness that seem to have lost.
People, places, attitudes very different today.
