I quite like the fact that he referenced Brighton in the presser yesterday as an aiming point for us. I know that is a pretty obvious thing to say but it shows that he must have been given assurances about our plans to try and get to that point.
As plenty have said, it is now just as (if not more) important for us to have a cracking transfer window and see if we can push on from last time. |  | | |

Brighton and Brentford are difficult benchmarks, as they are not typical clubs.
They are light years ahead of most smaller clubs in terms of analytics and player identification.

Tho that is an area we also seem to have been pushing hard in recent years, judging by staff hires and the noises coming out of Portman Rd.
Probably no coincidence that we have allegedly been using Bloom's analytical services in L1 and the Champ. Gives us a chance to learn from the way they do things. |  |
