Whoops- scrap this - apologies to Evri, just remembered the culprits were actually Parcelforce. I’ll let the bulk of the text stand though, to alert people to them, as they are just as bad. Even our excellent local posties refer to them as ‘Parcelfarce’.

A hospital I was attending decided, in their bid to cut costs, to send (unknown to me) a sample pot for a follow up test via (Parcelforce). Dispatched 18/03/2026 labelled ‘Private and Confidential’, also contained a letter with test results, full name and address, DOB & hospital no. - was found by my neighbour in a disused salt bin 2m from the public road, 200m from my house, over 3 months later on 20/06/2026!

And she only found it because she was searching for a missing package that was supposed to have been delivered to her by nEvri the day before, otherwise mine might not have been found till Christmas or beyond.
