None of the above. Alarm woke me at 00:15 then couldn't get back off. Me and the missus watched the whole thing in bed with a cup of tea. I enjoyed the build up with Rooney, Hart and Richards. I realised that Alan Shearer talks mostly blx. We horoughly enjoyed the match against a great football team. Tuchel went from clown to tactical mastermind overnight. Taking Kane off (we were carrying him at the end) was genius.

I slept on the sofa woke up at midnight,saw they had delayed the KO by one hour and grabbed a bit more sleep.

Watched the game,had the weirdest goal celebrations of all time,just raised my arms,as the good lady was chucking the zzzzzzs out upstairs.

She came down the stairs at 6.30 and skipped through the highlights on Iplayer.

I then walked over the green to the Tescos Express saw a few of my friends walking their hounds on the green and spoke to them.

Came home and did some garden tidying up,had 40 winks in my deckchair around 10.

That was that.

11am kick off in Australia. At work in the emergency department. England shirt under scrubs. A few patients eyeballed, investigations booked then watched the game in full. A couple of disguised direct messages on the system to some England despising colleagues about patient ID 3NG32M3X “coming home”. Smug as Larry for the rest of the day. A great day to be a brit abroad.

Insane. Absolute rollercoaster of emotions. Soaked in beer thrown by the Mexicans. The noise was deafening and the England fans were superb and relentless.
After the match was a complete contrast, the Mexicans were shaking our hands and giving out shots of tequila. One of the best.
