The stats show he has scored at the top level and has created goals at the top level.
He is 21. That is all anyone is going to know about him . That is what we are paying for. END OF. Until we see him play.

Decent return on their investment for Toulouse. Signed him for £2.5m and a year later sell him for 10x

Maybe we should buy their scout who found him last year.

What we need is Premier League ready, and that means now, next month. Previous signings have potential, Sindre Walle Egeli springs to mind, but it is players ready to compete at the highest level immediately that we are lacking.

I'll admit, I didn't think Delap's stats looked all that when he joined.

As long as this guy as seen as playing/starting in the first team now, which I assume at the prices stated, he will be.

As you say, I'll reserve judgement until I've seen him a few times. To be an upgrade on Hirst/Azon/Akpom is not going to be too difficult.

I don’t understand why we are paying so much and Toulouse have a sell-on clause apparently. If he turns out to be a prolific goalscorer then fair enough but it’s a massive gamble imho

By definition, those players who are regarded as Premier League, are already playing for a club who compete in it. Very unlikely to attract someone of that calibre.
