I think top level experience in a big league is probably more the bracket than just Prem. E.g Someone with multiple seasons with regular game time as a 9 in Bundesliga, Serie A, etc broadens out the search and would include targets like Troy Parrott. [Post edited 9 Jul 17:11]

I really don’t think Parrott is the answer. He never really did it over here and he is in a much easier league. Wouldn’t want to see him as our experienced striker. |  | | |

Experienced PL striker who knows where the net is, tested and proven
I know his heart is with Wolves but I am sure if we tried wooing him + cash we may well have a chance. It is extremely rare for a striker to choose playing in the Championship and getting less £££ than to have another season playing in the PL | | | |
