If he had stayed fit and right we'd have probably won the league that season.

I feel incredibly sorry for him. Clearly a really nice guy, with real talent.
But his ‘mates’ and hangers on have fked his career for him.

Really hope he gets it together and stays away from the bad influences.

I notice he only played one game for Hull and left in February by mutual agreement. It doesn’t seem like he’s managed to sort himself out. Shame looked a good player but obviously not that bright when you look at his off field issues.

A danger he could end up on non league football or out of the game completely. Shows you need the right attitude as well as talent.

"It doesn’t seem like he’s managed to sort himself out"

That's quite the assumption with zero knowledge. It was due to fitness issues.
Which considering he had spent a whole year without a club is understandable.

Given the length of time out, Hull was probably a step too high to come back into, particularly a Hull side out performing expectations at such a high level. It would have been better for him to start back in L1/L2 where the expectation is lower and he could have a less intense development toward full match fitness.

I think and hope he might come good and get it together. He needs six months regular game time and he could push back up the league to a regular champ player and hopefully that can bring him happiness and contentment.

Good luck to him.

Sending him to have to spend time in Rotherham is the ultimate punishment, the only way is up for Mr. Williams from there,

He's a really talented player. Should really have a good top flight career, hope he manages to get back somewhere close to that

Poll: Will Phil ever confirm we are actually close on a signing ever again
