It’s tough though, he was similar against Brazil and then scored two without doing much else. He also mentally terrifies defenders.

Hard to keep him on when he says he’s cooked and wants to come off though.., not sure if the media are protecting Haaland or the manager, but apparently he asked to come off, injury or just gassed, maybe thought someone else could do more, quiet a unique level of self awareness for a footballer if so.

Can’t keep him on if he doesn’t feel he can continue either way.
