The most bizarre career I can think of in recent years is that of Rohan Ricketts - remember him? Played in the Premier League with Tottenham for a bit in the 2000s.
Then went on to play in Canada, Hungary, Moldova, Germany, Ireland, India, Ecuador, Thailand, Hong Kong and Bangladesh. In between all that he also played for QPR, Coventry, Barnsley, Wolves, Exeter City, and finished his career playing for Jimmy Bullard at Leatherhead!
If that's not a bizarre career I don't know what is.
