We have so missed the boat on this. The corruption around the Qatar vote was the time to break away and no one had the balls to do it.
You reap what you sow and we have gone along with the Fifa circus with barely a whimper. Some journos have spoken out and shown the corruption but the FA has in its silence been complicit, for decades.
Tonorrow a half time show is the natural destination for people who look at football as "an experience", literally a million miles away from the game I grew up with. |  |
