Is it a Suffolk thing or a TWTD thing but there does seem to be a larger then normal amount of metal heads on here.

We played The Music Room a few months back, it's a great venue! I think the music scene is slowly building in Ipswich, we've got The Baths, St Stephen's, The Steamboat, plenty of amazing venues. | | | |

As recent as last month on a cruise that took in Vigo, Spain, I was fortunate enough that the ship was moored where my balcony overlooked a rock concert. I have no idea who the groups were but they were very good. The crowd had a large standing area and although difficult to assess the exact crowd I'd say a couple of thousand maybe more. They had two bars and the tickets having looked them up on line were 49.5 Euro's. So a free concert.

East Anglia has always had a strong heavy music following, Ipswich, Norwich and Colchester all have strong scenes and bands, many of who are Town supporters. | |
