To be fair global warming was really bad in 1976, my ford escort failed because of the heat. The mechanic even told me the fault was caused by global warming.
Also not forgetting 1959 was another bad year for global warming, I remember sweating my nuts off a few times that summer. [Post edited 29 Jul 20:52]

1976 was not global warming it was a freak summer. What we are seeing now is continually hotter spells in summer and spring (!), winters that barely exist here etc. While other places such as parts of Asia have just had record breaking floods, and it goes on. I call it climate change, not global warming. Some will continue to deny, well good luck to them, I possibly won't be around to see the worst of it. |  | | |

Do you accept that increasing human waste gas emissions into the atmosphere have created a situation where we are increasingly affecting the overall climate of the planet, and consequently are causing a big increase in severe weather occurrences?
