Looked much sharper than Furlong/ Johnson last night which is telling given they've all had the same break.
I know pre-season games mean nothing and we cant take much from it but he might suit the switch to a 5 more than we expected.

I hope he's being given as much opportunity as everyone else to prove his abilities to GON. He may well be one who impresses him, I feel this unlikely though.
His impressive performance last night was probably just a local boy giving his all for the shirt he loves, accepting that it could well be the last time he gets to pull it on. |  | | |

The thing is, last night both Harry Clarke, Humphreys and Burns were three of our better players. Burns still looks better than most of the players we have spent a small fortune replacing him with, and he's 30 something and had some nasty injuries... so who's getting the sack? |
And for those that like to watch training sessions, Harness was apparently our best pre-season player in 2024 , who cares? |  |
