Panini announced that 2026 would be their last World Cup sticker album.

It's like the ravens in the Tower of London- you can't have a World Cup without a Panini sticker album!

How did we fail to read the signs?

That's 1248 stickers plus 48 managers, 170 referees and we get 1466.

Then of course there's the stickers for the cup itself, random celebrities who may turn up to games, the 30 pieces of silver Infantino sticker and the treasured gold Trump sticker.

Some people will still be collecting these when the next world cup starts .... if it ever does.

Yeah it’s been confirmed. I think I read they’ll be having things like match worn patches from player shirts in packs. For example this year Kane had a unique sleeve patch due to being a golden boot winner.
