From what I can tell, it's pretty much a mix of every style of football you can think of into one game and fully dependent on where the ball is, who's got it.
Times today in that 2nd game, our high press reminded me of our league 1 days under KM, then occasionally we dropped back with what seemed like a flat 4 5 1.
We played ball across the backline at times, but sometimes from keeper to striker.
Long diags between flanks, some lovely defence splitting balls, 1-2s up the wing,
Also our recovery rates look great.
If we can recruit strongly until the end of the window. We have a shot at this.. we're being prepped to face all sides, different ways of playing against them, different ways to hurt them and different ways to protect ourselves. |  |

Except that's not at all true regarding KM. We did mix it up going long and short, there were tactical changes made during matches, there were tactical changes depending on the opponent and score. How many times were we "doomed" last season for example? |  | | |

Kick and rush ? |
No. He was constantly encouraging players to make and use space. We are getting the ball forward quicker, but with passes rather than hoofball.
The rule that each CB has to touch the ball 10x before venturing over the halfway line appears to have been abandoned.
Until we have a credible CM, it'll be hard to judge the defensive side of the team... | | | |
