He’s was at the Nuffield today, so would imagine we are very much favourites.
I’ve not seen him once at Burnley but I do remember him coming through at Benfica, he was very highly regarded, especially for the national team. Obviously hasn’t quite hit them heights but as a deep 6, it feels a real upgrade to the calibre in the squad. |  | | |

In all honesty we need to go into the season with 4 x CM and with Taylor linked away that just leaves Us with Matusiwa so 3 to come in you’d have thought. [Post edited 2 Aug 22:25]

If it is Florentino Luis, Azor Matusiwa, Sasa Lukic & Marcelino Nunez as our midfield options for when the season kicks off, I don't think we'll be doing too badly.
It would certainly be a lot stronger than the version of Kalvin Phillips we got, along with Sam Morsy, Jack Taylor & fitness doubt Jens Cajuste, from 2 years ago. | |
