EXCLUSIVE | Ipswich Town and Coventry City are keeping tabs on the situation of Sidiki Chérif, who wears a Fenerbahçe jersey!

Not sure on this one. 19 year old striker, so not got the level of experience we need. Valued at around €12m

But from a legit journalist.

Sorry, Striker.

No need to apologise as it was a genuine question. Another young one then which makes this less likely you would've thought? We need a Chris Wood type player I think.

That's why I'm unsure on it. He's got European experience in the Europa League, and he just played in their Champions League qualifier, but surely he would be 3rd choice behind Emersonn and AN Other.

Get 3 in! Two kids and one with experienced like Chris Wood if it’s doable.

Akpom and Hirst to leave hopefully. We genuinely could get a few between 5-10M for George so I think we should do it if possible

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

We should have gone in for Raul Jimenez of Fulham before he re signed for Wolves as a third choice striker. OK he’s 35yo but scored goals in PL. Chris Wood is another good shout but he’s 36yo!

He was only leaving Fulham for Wolves very sure he said that. Not one we could have done.

That’s old, let alone for the toughest league in the world but a 1 year deal doesn’t sound too crazy, especially considering some of our Maeda and hopefully Enciso could play up top if needed. Callum Wilson would have been ideal as a day one starter with Emersonn learning his craft so that was a shame.

He looked fine physically at the World Cup.

Wouldn't argue with that. Hard to not feel sentimental at the thought of Hirst going but I know it needs to happen. Let's hope our new Brazilian lad hits the ground running too.

Didn't realise Wood was quite that old. If we can get him for a year and he gets games it could be appealing to him?

I think fans get a little too sentimental tbh.

Imagine being a striker that’s had 3 promotions in four years at one club, unheard of! These lads have had some of the best careers a mid-twenties EFL player could ever dream of.

Need to think of what’s right for the club, which is also in this instance what’s right for the players as well, in terms of getting a contract until they’re 30.

Combine that with a new manager and we should be looking to get these deals done, it’s time.

We do, but it's hard to forget his goal at Barnsley. I know you're right, it's just hard to say goodbye to people who have lived and breathed blue for so long and done so admirably.
