Fair enough but this is just a season ticket, not a payment card, the club should be allowing the usage of all wallets.
As an FYI a lot of UK credit cards still don't work on Apple or Google and that relates to security issues with the apps in how security verification is undertaken. |
The point I’m making is that is unlikely to be a club decision. They won’t be the owner of the technology the creates and deploys the e-tickets. They will be using a provider for the service, and many of those just don’t support Samsung wallet yet. This will be especially true if the club get the service from a local tech company (which I hope they do). There is a cost associated with supporting each technology / API, and smaller companies just won’t be able to justify the cost to support what has bee (so far) a minority format & wallet. | | | |

I've got apps to get into cricket grounds, for trains, flights and various concert venues which download to my Apple wallet with no problems at all. Can I get my ST to download ? Can I chuff.

The difference with these is that you’re using custom apps that process the e-ticket deployment - they don’t rely on a browser at all. This is how I thing the club should do it (other clubs do). Embed the capability into the ITFC app. That would put them in control, and eliminate these annoying dependencies.
