Can't be far out as I had us pre Florentino Luis in the mid to high £70m's. The two absolute essentials left are at the very least one CM who can progress the ball and the main no 9, from what I've seen our strike force at the moment is top end Championship standard at best, though obviously the likes of Emersonn has scope for improvement. Unfortunately we don't have time just to sit and wait for it to happen. I'd also very much like to see another CM, a wide left/winger, and a left and right full/wing back. I think I can here the sound of a piggy bank being rattled in the hallows of Portman road :)

So yes, that number is about right. I said at the start of the summer we’d spend £150-200M, and still think that is right.
