Things have definitely fallen apart at Chelsea, maybe due to some things out of his control, but from reports Delap did well today.
He was arguably our best player (definitely no worse than second best) in 2024/25 so the dismissal of him now is quite something. I'm not sure if having a thread slating him after every game is really needed. |  |

Without Delap our season would have been even more embarrassing than it was. Not sure what the point of laying into him long after he's gone from the club is. |  |

Oh there was nothing arguable about it. He was so clearly our best player that season and it wasn't even close.
IIRC I think Dara got POTS from the fans ? Which was utter lunacy. Without Delap we would have done well to get double figure points. As you say, the fact some of our fans can't wait to slate him is very odd. [Post edited 9 Aug 23:06]

He was until he pretty much stopped playing having secured a move which is likely why fans are slating him. Agree with you that our points tally would have been a lot lower without him. | |
