Didn't Boro pay Man Utd £7M for a keeper last week? Don't forget Wrexham pay a "celebrity investment" tax on top of their transfers . . . much like we paid a parachute tax on ours last season.

If we sell Palmer and let Van Oevelen go out on loan we will 100% be signing another keeper. No way would they go into a Prem season with Button as 3rd choice - no disrespect to the bloke. As things stand he hasn’t even signed a new deal here anyway.

Pope is a woeful goalkeeper and I would be disappointed in that. Even as a number 2, he would fill me dread.
