100% we are going to have e to adapt in all sorts of ways.
Couple of things I picked up from Aus recently.
They do before school clubs rather than after school clubs.
They use shutters rather than blinds.
And I read an article in the Guardian earlier highlighting how a heat pump cam also work to cool your home in summer (with some clever addition) which I guess is better for the environment than.AC units... |
Air to air it's easy enough, air to water not so easy. In Ireland there are grants for things like PV , insulation and heat pumps. It is not allowed to configure heat pumps for cooling and certified installers must disable this option! Great forward thinking when a lot of these homes have lots of glass and accordingly generate serious passive heating. |  | | |

Today was the first time ever I said ‘fk this’ to sitting outside in my garden under a big old umbrella.
It was bloody ridiculous around Mid day.
So we went and sat in the North Wing.
