Oh, I didn't realise that. I thought it was all his manoeuvring for a transfer that meant he wasn't playing. My mistake. I do think Clarke has done very well playing second fiddle to Philogene and is now stepping up being given the chance to start more often.

Absolute madness. Even today and not fit Philogene looked far better than Clarke in my opinion. He's technically so much better at looking after the ball.

I think Clarke has had a really poor pre-season and is likely on hovering near the cut line with the business we are doing.

Philogene situation has helped him from that point of view.

I like Clarke but he is frustrating and you can't give the ball away as much as he does in the prem. Nunez had been similar this pre-season but had a good game today overall.

Also a player that takes so long to make a decision if it’s not just shoot.

Definitely question marks on Clarke but no question in my eyes that Jaden is not a top level player.
Not quick enough not strong enough not skilful enough.
Even lost his man today so I’d add not as switched on as people believe defensively.

One thing I would say he's improved since he's been here and better at clarke at is his defensive duties he's very good at that, once again covered Davis today,
