Good point BB. Ouatrra can cover both full back slots and maybe is now the main back-up to Leif.
Albeit as you say Johnson can also fill that role - as can Greaves
Johnson went to left back Saturday when Leif came off.

Yes the plan seems to be ship out Palmer on loan, make Scherpen and Walton battle for the number 1 spot, and then put Van Oevelen out on loan, with Button number 3.

I thought it had been confirmed (unofficially at least) that button won't be part of the squad (instead coaching and sometimes playing u21s), and that KVO's loan deal had been scuppered by Walton's injury? | | | |

Largely agree. I'd still like to see another CB, particularly if O'Shea is likely to play at RB a fair amount. Whether that means no LB (because there is enough cover elsewhere) or one of Johnson or Furlong leaves, im not sure.
I could also see a last minute loan deal for the likes of Nwanari, with someone like Mehmeti missing out. A lot depends on whether Jaden goes or stays. | | | |

My cynical mind says Jaden and/or his agent have seen the quality of signings we’ve made, have hope we will stay up and there for about faced.
My less cynical mind is we as supporters knowing nothing made some stuff up and he was never leaving anyway he was just injured. |  | | |
