Actually thought he was decent tonight. Sure he could have done better with the first one, but it was a helluva hit and probably caught him by surprise. After that he handled the ball well, distribution was decent, made a few nice saves.

Good game really.

The reaction to this is ridiculous. Everyone makes mistakes and he made one. He had a decent rest of game against a quality attack. There has to be a point when we stop hounding our keepers and get behind them.

I like him, had a lot of saves to make first half and I genuinely think that first one was just hit far too well. Don't think many keepers would have saved that.

Looks slow on the ball but that's clearly a tactical thing, and he didn't do much wrong in terms of passing did he?

Can throw the ball, kick long. Picked out O'Shea a couple of times nicely.

Be nice if the crowd doesn't grind him down after a couple of iffy moments like we did Muric.

Nobody was giving him stick in the ground for the goals; everyone was supportive

Very nearly cost us a penalty too. Took an age to come off his line when it was 100% his ball to collect. Luckily there was a foul in the build up.

I think id be bringing Walton in for a run of games. Im sorry, but im really not convinced by our new keeper, and uts doen to the basics of goalkeeping im not happy about. He simply doesn't stop shots you'd expect even a half decent keeper to save.

Realistically I'm unsure if we could have upgraded on Walton who imo is a decent Keeper even for this level. We have bought in two, one of which has been loaned out which baffles me. A 6'9" Keeper should be in total command of his area.

I can't recall Walton ever being so badly exposed positionally or in terms of very basic shot-stopping.
