Complete the English Town Name

A similar quiz to a previous one if anyone would like a go...

You just have to click/tap to complete the names of 24 two-word town names from across England.

e.g. If given "Lyme", you would select "Regis" from the options.

Tow Law Town FC reached the 2nd round proper of the FA Cup in 1967-68, the first season I followed football properly. They thrashed Mansfield 5-1 & took Shrewsbury to a replay, which they lost 6-2. Their reward would have been a home 3rd round tie against Arsenal.
This is the only reason I have ever heard of Tow Law. I still have no idea where it is, but as the first 2 rounds of the FA Cup were regionalised in those days, I guess it is in the north.

ha, good knowledge. It is in County Durham apparently, population 2,200, so more of a village really.

I'd only heard of the first one through seeing the football club, Tow Law Town, amongst previous seasons' FA Cup fixtures. It is a bit of an odd name!

And I remember seeing the second one on sweet wrappers when I was younger as I think it is where Swizzels Matlow have their factory... 🍭

New Mills is where swizzles have their factory. Also the next village over from me, which made it surprise to see it.

Also, if anyone is ever near, has in incredible Italian/Sicilian restaurant.
