It's not player trading? It's sending a very young, promising player out on loan to hopefully get minutes and experience. He was always going to be a backup here. We didn't pay £10m for Scherpen for him to sit on the bench. Also, with Waltons experience, the chances are Van Oevelen would've been 3rd choice here, with little chance of any minutes even in the cup competitions.
There could be many reasons why KVO hasn't played yet. Perhaps, he's just not as good as people have built him up to be, yet? His kicking was extremely impressive in a couple of friendlies, but he barely had to make a save in the minutes he had. His all around game may not be ready at the moment. Two managers that get to watch him everyday in training have decided against making him their number one, in the last couple of months.
If after the next couple of months he hasn't broken in to the first team at Valencia, I hope we have a recall in place for Jan, and we use it to get him somewhere else he can get more minutes. Otherwise, it doesn't really help any party. |  | | |

Well the idea was that he would be playing regularly. No idea why he isn't but if it carries on like this we'll presumably pull him out of there and send him somewhere else. |  |

I don't think the logic of the loan should be in question. It's pretty logical what the idea was, but we can't force a team to play our player. | |
