I've not been here from the start, but must have been on here for a good 15-20 years now, and whilst there were always argumentative people, this aggressive political posting is worse than ever.
There's a certain section of society that is just so angry and defensive of their political beliefs that they no longer just go after the people who hold the opposite views, but actively seek out and attack anyone who isn't as passionate about their cause as them.
"How dare you not care about [[insert latest political buzzword fad here]]!!"
I just want to wake up in the morning, go to the gym, eat, go to work, watch football, go to bed.
Literally don't have the inclination or energy to give a flying **** about Palestine, Israel, religion, veganism, Trump, trans rights, Nigel Farage, The Falklands, small boats, Charlie Kirk or Ukraine... |  |
