| Verdict 22:09 - Sep 15 with 673 views | ringwoodblue | Two nice consolation goals, some good performances from a few of the players but let’s face it, we lost the game when we were drawn against Arsenal. [Post edited 15 Sep 22:10]

| Verdict on 22:18 - Sep 15 with 573 views | tonybied | Exactly, there's some ridiculous comments on here tonight. The second string of a team promoted last season got comfortably beat by the second string of the team who walked the Premier League last year, and are looking potentially better this season. Our second string is never going to be anywhere near the level of theirs, and likely wouldn't be even after another few years of Premier League money. It's a shame we didn't get drawn against a lower level opponent, so we had a better chance of progression, but it is what it is. As you say, there were a few good performances, that proved we have some good cover for some positions. We just have to hope that lady luck is smiling on us in the positions we need improvement in. Wasn’t even totally their second string. We did fine tonight. | | | |

Yep, at times you need to hold your hands up and admit an opponent is on another planet. Considering the side we put out to the side they put out and that it looked like it could become very ugly, we showed some guts and character, that maybe some wouldn't have. They might have been on a different planet, but the one we were on wasn't bad. | | | |
| Verdict on 23:24 - Sep 15 with 258 views | Esseeja | That's 5 goals after the 89th minute in 6 games now (3 in the league, 2 in the cup). Also, 12 goals in the 6 games. Fantastic signs. Anyway, we looked really positive today, dare I say dangerous. It was much better than when we went 2 down to Liverpool, we were actually more positive and getting some actual chances off, and I genuinely think we were a mix of unlucky, and lacking in the final decision to not to score more than the 2 goals we did. I thought we deserved more. And that's with the poor performances from Nunez and McAteer. McAteer isn't good enough, most of us know that, it's fine, we can worry about it when we actually will have to. For now, take the positives. Genuinely happy after that. | | | |
