We walked into a pub/bar called ‘Moody Blues’ used to be called ‘Klopps’! Big group of us with about half wearing the away shirt, I tepidly walked in first expecting to get the ‘not allowed in mate’ but they didn’t even bat an eyelid and we got served almost straight away, sat down amongst them as chatted.
Night and day compared to Man Utd the other week where we we turned away from a couple of places even after the game, yesterday is how it should be! |  |

Totally agree with the previous comments. On the bus to the ground I got chatting to a few fans who were pleasant, respectful and helpful as regards getting back to Lime Street after the game. On the bus back to Lime Street I got chatting to some other fans who invited me to go for a drink. I kindly declined as I needed to get back to London.

Agreed, I remember having a couple of pints with them in the Arkles when we played there. Evertonians were also in colours in the bar before trekking to Villa Park.
