According to Troy Deeney in his team of the weekend! Perhaps Town could have done more with chances they had and maybe pushed for equaliser in closing minutes. Other teams will no doubt get beaten by bigger margins by City so we’ll see how it all pans out. It’s all a learning curve for GON but so far the signs are hopeful.

Town were pushing for an equaliser in the final minutes. It just didn't quite come off. After all, it was the ManC fans whistling for full time, not ours.
Troy Deeney is clearly as intelligent as Clinton Morrison, chris sutton and the majority of former players who form an oppinion which means very little

He obviously didnt watch the game did he. We were a bit unfortunate that the Lino decided to break down the opportunities we were creating when applying presure in injury time and clearly still going for it.
Just the week before, the same Citeh side that have won every league game this season stuck 3 passed Liverpool who didn't manage to score. I think we can take plenty of positives out of that as opposed to the 'poor' analysis from Deeney who clearly didn't do his research.

Deeney has zero credibility as a pundit, and an ego that far outweighs any form of ability.
Media platforms need to stop giving him airtime, they all seem to have very quickly forgotten about him repeatedly kicking a student in the head while he was on the floor.

Deeney is a complete pr!ck who for some reason hates us. I have heard him slagging us off multiple times this season already, and he claimed before the City game we had been lucky so far and would be found out soon starting with a heavy defeat at City.
He is just pushing the 'poor performance' narrative to try and make himself look better after getting it wrong ( again! )

Not sure I get this "anti Ipswich" approach by pundits this season. What's their problem? They barely utter our name, yet when they do its to demean us or criticise.
