| Greater Anglia 19:18 - Nov 2 with 888 views | dyersdream | Anyone had any compensation from the train cancellations from the Nottingham forest game ? | | | | |
| Greater Anglia on 19:22 - Nov 2 with 872 views | The_Romford_Blue | I hadn’t until I realised I’d put it through as a single not as a return. The second I changed it to a return, the money immediately went into my bank. Which suggests they have people ready to go who have applied but need it to be 100% correct details before the money is released. | |

| Greater Anglia on 23:25 - Nov 2 with 440 views | N2_Blue | Nope. I chased them but they state they don't get back to e-mail queries within 10 days or something and that i needed to wait. Their customer service is shocking, and the lady on the phone wasn't particularly helpful. She kept mentioning about the delay repay online thing and simply not understanding that you can't claim for a taxi or other expenses via that platform. They only seemed to want to help regarding delays and not compensation for travel that was not possible and where non-rail costs may have been incurred | |

The customer service guy I spoke to said they would pay for taxis if train ticket and taxi receipt sent to contactcentre@greateranglia.co.uk They paid for taxis and a hotel in Ipswich for some people who ended up stranded and ought to pay for reasonable onward travel costs (I had to Uber it back to London) given there was a yellow wind warning (49mph winds to hit Ipswich from 7pm) from that morning and they didn't lay on any replacement buses.

They seem to be close to paying for my uber back to SE London. Asked for some additional info yesterday which I’ve provided

The annoying thing was when I applied for same after Liverpool game they said they had no record of any delays that evening. So I take a picture of notice board now just in case they try the same trick again.
