| Elon Musk and Twitter make Rupert Lowe the most seen MP Twitter. 12:22 - Nov 8 with 394 views | Kievthegreat | So there's a full article in the FT (shared below), but this one post on BlueSky highlights something quite bizarre. Lowe is the 4th most viewed politician on Twitter and is actually pretty close to Trump in number of views, while getting 3-5 times as much as any other UK politician. How Elon Musk has helped to make the leader of a fringe party that he supports much the most visible politician on X. — Sunder Katwala (sundersays) (@sundersays.bsky.social) 2026-11-08T09:11:41.020Z A lot of Lowe's extra visibility comes directly from Musk sharing his tweets so plenty of those views will be MAGA nutters and people who can't vote in the UK, but Restore is very much a Musk pet project and is doing the job of keeping Reform pegging ever further right. Far-right British MP outperforms most world leaders on X - https://www.ft.com/content/fe9 via @FT | | | | |

Must sting for Farage, that he is not racist enough for Apartheid Clyde to share his posts.

He’s doing a good job of shifting further to the right though. Just in the last couple of weeks he’s announced the following Reform positions: - suspension of the asylum process, no refugee system under a future Reform govt for at least 5 years - abolition of humanitarian grant funding - scrapping Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) for any foreign citizens And one of their councillors has said that no foreigner should be allowed to stand for an elected office (while referring to Mahmood and Sadiq Khan, which will be a surprise to them as they were born in Birmingham and Tooting, respectively. But it’s not about race, honest lol). They’re not far off forceful remigration or even detention camps ICE-style.
