That 'Day Of Rage' in full 18:09 - Jun 21 with 3093 viewsDolly2.0

"Around 100 protesters gathered in Shepherd's Bush from 11.30am before starting their march to Downing Street at shortly after 1.30pm - delayed by 30 minutes due to a low turn-out.

Within an hour, the protest swelled to around 200 people and began taking up three lanes of the road as it forced drivers to slow down."

Terrifying stuff.

any protest that's organised and publicised will always be lame. Needs to be organic and boiling up from the streets to have any impact. See Poll Tax riots of 1990.

You failed to mention the headline in your link: Grenfell Tower volunteer confronts activists for 'hijacking' disaster.

You would do well to reflect on that.

Did anyone have a £3 coffee and an iPhone? Only the political right may enjoy overpriced cellphones and hot beverages, I believe

I'd like you and/or your up-arrowers to explain why *I* should reflect on that? Show me anywhere where I have supported activists hijacking a disaster...

Yeah, I can see no conflict in people actively lining the pockets of the very tax avoiding companies they routinely protest about.........

At least showing that almost everyone on the left accepts the democratic outcome and that "rage" isn't an appropriate response to an outcome that they personally find disappointing.

No doubt Rod Liddle will carry on writing articles at £500-a-pop about how the right are so morally superior to the left.

Russell has a not-for-profit cafe staffed by ex-junkies that he's helping rehabilitate back into society.

The other day he gave the entire proceeds of a recent gig to the Manchester tragedy fund.

What is it that you do that you can be so sneering?

I'm beginning to think you're just bitter and jealous about anyone more successful. It's a shame really.
