I certainly agree. Gerks hasn't done anything to deserve anything less than our backing. We have bigger issues than giving our players a hard time.

Ok, very quick reactions saves have always been a part of his game from when he was at Bristol City. Until Bart's very good form of the last two years there wasn't a great deal between them, since then of course Bart has proven himself clearly superior.
That Gerken has played round this level all his career whilst people like Loach and ALB have disappeared.
I would hope we sign a new keeper when Bart goes but Gerken is generally ok as a reserve keeper.. | |
