Well, it’s the best football I’ve seen since Jim Smith was the Manager. He’s wedded to 4-3-3 and, when it works, it can sweep teams aside and give you a warm fuzzy glow.

However, he has no Plan B, always struggled against organised, gritty spoilers (like a McCarthy team) and he likes lightweight players.

Expect to get off to a flying start and then struggle when everyone works out how to play against you.
