New Signings 16:52 - Aug 1 with 888 viewseddiespearitt03

All of a sudden we are out there shopping for players and finally building a squad that shows promise and intent.
Yet all we got with McCarthy was there were no funds. So what has changed ?

Management strategy I assume, MM's loans and agents fees could have been more significant than what Hurst is dealing with, plus the wage bill is probably quite a bit smaller than before.

Mick was much more into championship experienced talent, so every free signing he made could well have had a significant signing on fee. You cant help but think players in the lower leagues viewing this as a step up have more incentive to prove themselves, than just that of the paycheck.

I also think Marcus Eavns trusts Hurst player judgement from lower leagues.

i'm excited about the season. i hope this approach comes good. but everyone needs to remember it is very far from a quick fix.
