Bishop is the one really - if he played a full season in the championship or league 1 and he was on a long-term contract he'd easily be worth £5million, probably a whole lot more.
He'll presumably not be too keen to let his contract run down, just in case he suffers another serious injury, so you'd think if we offered him something decent now we might stand a chance of him accepting.
Give it another month or two and if he's fit and playing well he'd be much less likely to sign another Ipswich contract. [Post edited 7 Jan 2019 19:14]

Dozzell and Downes are contracted until 30th June 2020 and Woolfenden until June 30th 2019.
I imagine the club has a one year option on top of that,certainly for Dozzell and Downes. |  | | |

Thanks Phil - interesting.
At least we have some length in Downes and Dozzell contract; albeit not long enough. I wonder if Paul L is working with Marcus to define who he wants for the long term PROJECT. You’d think those two would be in his plans. Or are we planning to cash in on a Dozzell to boost the transfer fund - I really hope not.
I wonder how many matches they’ll test Bishops fitness with; a few performances of quality and suitors will be alerted. | |
