True. My wife and I are very sensible with money on the whole, but if it wasn’t for an unexpected inheritance we’d still be 5-10 years away from owning a home. And whilst I appreciate we could always have moved to Keighley or Gateshead if we couldn’t wait, there’s still the issue of needing to live within reach of decent work!
