Probably the play-offs? No leaders, no fight 11:25 - Feb 14 with 713 viewsSouperJim

No confidence in anyone running this ship. We're staring into oblivion, the spine of the team is past it's best and the up and coming talent will get picked off when we don't go up.

Ironic that the disastrous 5 year deal is looking like what it'll take us to dig us out of this mess.

FFS.

Couldn't believe he came out and said that, shocking lack of fight, belief or ambition.

Just a microcosm of everything which is wrong with us at the moment. We've gone from Lambert blowing his trumpet about having overcome the relegation hangover and suggesting we might go unbeaten this season (remember that?), to a side where the wheels have come off completely. It beggars belief, we've had control of our own destiny twice and both times let it slip in the most abject way possible.

We have an easy run in, the problem is the teams on top and around have the easy games now so by the time we start being able to mount a few wins and have players back from injury, i feel it will be too late.

Burton at home, draw specialists against misfiring team - mostly likely draw but all the teams above us have all easy games so if i was a betting man would put wins for all. Too many teams around us with games in hand so i feel even play offs are seeming quite a challenge at the moment.

I hate to see if like that, but reality has hit some that the squad isn't as good as what its seems on paper whether its player ability or being mismanaged, played out of position or just not being good enough which fits a few of our players.

I do blame Lambert for a few things but not having a good enough squad is down to Evans. We can keep all of our youngsters until the cows come home but if the quality around them isn't up to their standards then we will struggle like now. Take Downes pass to Donacien who was bird watching and rooted to the spot as an example the other game. It happens so many times that as a player you have to be thinking to your self, how did this person get recruited.

Evans is a pretty crap owner but failing to go up this season won’t be his fault, it’ll be Lamberts.

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

It would be every ones, Evans, Lambert's and the players.

We wont know the whole story but the fact we needed loans to cover the injuries and we weren't able to get any speaks a lot of the problems we have. Lambert can only play what he has available, if it isn't good enough then not all down to him.

I refuse to believe the problem is the squad at his disposal, we have talented players in key positions that other sides in this division can't match. The problem is Lambert can't consistently motivate them or instill any self-belief and mental toughness. As soon as the going gets tough, we fold spectacularly. Nowhere was that more evident than at Rotherham recently.

I'd say that's an overly ambitious target at the moment. As I mentioned yesterday, I would abandon any targets now and go back to the old cliché of focusing only on the next game. Focus on our performance and if we get that right the results will follow.
