Rationality, knowledge and action... 09:31 - Mar 4 with 525 views | monytowbray | Where do fans begin in actually protesting and demanding reasonable action? I know we’re not to Pompey 00s-10s levels of doomed but when they sorted the fan takeover they had accountant and legal experienced fans who gave up their free time to help (the legal firm were actually a client of mine at the time LOOK AT ME). I mean, showing up with banners and shouting is one thing but surely we should have a list of possible demands/requests as to what we want from the ownership and Evans? Be it investment based on what his accounts look like (which would be interesting because like many Football owners he’d feel very concerned if someone with legal knowledge was sniffing around his books to spot potential holes) or a way to offload the club to someone/thing else? I think there would be numerous potential outcomes but to really pile pressure on we as fans need to know what they are. I believe when Portsmouth were fighting to win their club back the accountant discovered some very naughty transfers and figures on the books and the bloke who was blocking the sale by all means he could quickly backed down, although I can’t remember the exact ins and outs.

Show any potential investor the support is there, we love the club, we will get behind them but we won't accept someone running the club we love into the ground. Likewise, boo the players after the match if they are as gutless as they have been. But then from the first minute of the next match get right behind them so they know that this is bigger than them and all we ask from them is 100% effort, the sort that should be standard.

The Blue Action post was bang on though. We clapped our team to the lowest position in a lifetime and saw an increase in STs. If someone with a bit of cash and the right appointments could come along we’re an oil well full of reserves and someone just needs to upgrade the infrastructure go get it out.

Rationality, knowledge and action... on 09:38 - Mar 4 with 465 views | Swansea_Blue | Hmmm. Not exactly know for being rebellious are we? West Ham had thousands protest before their game on Saturday. Then they turned up in the stadium and supported the team to a thumping win over Southampton. That's how to do it - target protests outside the games. Trouble is, we're reticent at the best of times and I think a lot have been ground down into apathy. I get that, so maybe a few anti-ME chants after the opposition score and the occasional booing a the end is all that'll happen.

I agree there, that’s why I feel we need to lay down some demands. Stay and do XYZ or f*ck off via XYZ methods.
